Second Stage Round 6: Ilirija - Krka 77-83

There was a small surprise in Ljubljana where sixth rankedKrka (8-14) beat one of their biggest challengers Ilirija (9-14) 83-77 on Sunday. Power forward Lovro Urbiha (204-2003, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 14 points to lead the charge for the winners and American center Sukhmail Mathon (208-1998, college: Boston U.) chipped in 7 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Montenegrin point guard Petar Popovic (194-1996) with 20 points and guard Mark Padjen (196-2006) scored 13 points. Four Ilirija players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Krka moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Vienna. Loser Ilirija keeps the fourth position with 14 games lost.
